Reasonable Accomodations

Purpose: Upon completion of this course, supervisors will be able to explain that reasonable accommodations are a cooperative, interactive process between the individual with a disability and the USPTO. Furthermore, supervisors will be able to demonstrate how to process requests for a reasonable accommodation and, where required by law, provide reasonable accommodations in a prompt, fair, and efficient manner.

Context: The development of this course series included three new asynchronous eLearning modules, and a cumulative, graded quiz for each. Courses included:

  1. Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

  2. Equal Employment Opportunity

  3. Reasonable Accommodations​

Tasks: SME provided the content; I designed the look & feel with approval from client; I fleshed out a high-level design doc; and crafted the storyboard. With stakeholder approval, I begain development.
